BUNRATTY-Cratloe A continued their progress up the league table when they accounted for Kilrush Rangers on Sunday.
The West Clare side started well and had a chance to score after 15 minutes but Robert Carey’s penalty effort was saved by Pierce De Loughrey.
The winners, who lost Ally McMillan after five minutes due to injury, were 1-0 in front at half-time thanks to a goal from Diarmuid Nash.
In the second half, the visitors were on top and extended their lead with goals from Brian McMillan and a Paul Butler penalty.

BRIDGE Celtic made the journey to Ennis on Sunday and turned in a storming opening half hour, which proved decisive.
A hat-trick from Trevor Howard had the visitors 3-0 clear after half an hour. Two of the goals came from the penalty spot with the third coming from open play when he drove a low effort to the corner of the net from outside the area.
Shortly before half-time, Gary Seary gave the home side hope when he scored and he was on target again in the second half. After this score, the Ennis outfit laid siege to Bridge Celtic’s goal but try as they did, they were unable to get through for an equaliser. They finished the game with 10 men after Pa Sherlock picked up a second yellow card shortly before the final whistle.
