Theatrix Productions bring the production to Glór on Thursday September 29 and will stage the show over three nights finishing on Saturday.
The All-Star Wars Hurling Musical will be performed each night at 8pm and rolls comedy, music, song and sport all into one performance. The story itself chronicles the lifelong ambitions and adventures of hapless junior B hurler; Hugh Cullen, an apparent descendent of Cuchulainn. Honouring the masters of the clash of the ash, this new show is the brainchild of writer/director Bryan Flynn and actor/comedian Kevin McCormack.
The production brings the audience into a world of comic characters and situations; from the players and selectors, to the pundits and commentators, not forgetting the corner-back, the keeper, the parish priest and the committee.
