Horan’s recovery ahead of schedule says Munster coach

CLONLARA man Marcus Horan has returned to training with Munster and may line out in the AIL with Shannon this weekend.
Horan’s last game was against Treviso in the Heineken Cup in mid-October and at that stage, it was believed he would be out of action until the end of January. However, his recovery is ahead of schedule, with Munster coach Tony McGahan attributing it to Horan’s “determination and professionalism”.
If the international prop-forward is match fit, he may feature in Munster’s Magner’s League game against Scarlets the weekend after next.
Munster play Ulster in Ravenhill this Saturday at 6pm in the Magner’s League.
Doug Howlett, Lifeimi Mafi and Alan Quinlan, who all missed the game last weekend against Connacht, are included in Munster’s squad for the trip to Ulster.
