Holders through to Cusack Cup final

The final round of games in all of the adult football leagues took place at the weekend clearing the way for the knock out stages of the competitions.
The big talking point this week is the fact that both Cooraclare and St Senan’s Kilkee will play in Division 3 next season
In the race for the Cusack Cup, a play-off is required after Miltown and Éire Óg not only ended on the same points but also have the same score difference.
Titleholders Kilmurry-Ibrickane have topped the table while St Joseph’s, Miltown and Éire Óg each finished with nine points. St Joseph’s have the superior score difference but Miltown and Éire Óg could not be separated here either.
Prior to last weekend’s series of games, Shannon Gaels and Kilrush were relegated.
In the Garry Cup Liscannor are through to the final where they await the winners of the Lissycasey v Clondegad semi-final. Cooraclare and St Senan’s Kilkee have been relegated to Division 3.
Kilmurry-Ibrickane will play in Division 2 next season after their win over Kildysart on Sunday assured them of top spot. Kilmihil and Kildysart meet in the semi-final while Meelick and Kilfenora have been relegated. Kilfenora, however, are annoyed at the fact that Wolfe Tones conceded a walkover to Coolmeen in their final game. Had the Shannon club played and won that game then Coolmeen would be making the drop ahead of Kilfenora.
Michael Cusacks are in the Division 4 final where they will play either Lissycasey or Doonbeg. Kilrush and Cooraclare have been relegated. Cooraclare and Naomh Eoin finished on the same points but as Naomh Eoin won when they met, they finish ahead of Cooraclare.
In Division 5 Shannon Gaels and St Joseph’s will meet in the semi-final with the winners going onto play Ennistymon. St Senan’s Kilkee and Wolfe Tones have been relegated.
St Breckan’s and O’Currys drew on Monday evening last and they have finished in joint second place. They will meet again on Saturday week, this time in the semi-final, with the winners going on to play Clondegad in the final. Corofin and Clarecastle have been relegated.
Moy have topped the Division 7 table and are through to the final where they await the winners of the Kildysart v Killimer clash.

Hurling
In the Division 3 hurling league, a four-way play-off is required to determine the final semi-finalist. Newmarket, Cratloe and Inagh-Kilnamona are already through.
In the play-off Clarecastle will play Clonlara while Éire Óg face Meelick and these games are set for Saturday week. The winners of these games will meet to determine who goes through to the semi-final.
In Division 5A, a three way play-off is required to determine what two teams will go through to the semi-finals. Scariff face Crusheen on Sunday week with the winners going through as the top team from the group. The losers of that tie will have a second chance against Newmarket for the second spot.
