Similar to all clubs, O’Callaghan’s Mills faces a constant struggle to generate enough income for the day to day running of the club and also, for the development of facilities.

This year, the club has set a number of targets including re-roofing the handball alley, extending the clubhouse to incorporate a new gym, new nettings for behind the goals, resurfacing of the ball wall court and providing a club specific defibrillator.

The classic was originally proposed and developed by the late Fr Conor McNamara and his input has been acknowledged in the form of the Fr Conor McNamara Perpetual Cup.

Anyone interested in having an enjoyable round of golf on Good Friday or Easter Saturday can do so by contacting David McNamara on 087 9333211.
