Happy Faces for TLC4CF

FOR those who always wanted a professional photograph of themselves but never quite got around to organising it, the Irish Professional Photographers Association and Tipperary Limerick Clare for Cystic Fibrosis (TLC4CF) may have come up with the perfect opportunity.

Happy Faces is the annual fundraising project, now in its fifth year, organised by the association and this year it will assist the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI) in providing isolation facilities for people living with cystic fibrosis.
Nenagh photographer Mary McCullagh of Source Photography will be taking professional portrait photographs at the Woodstock Hotel in Ennis on Saturday and Sunday, April 17 and 18. For a minimum donation, those in attendance will receive a mini-portrait session and a desk portrait.
However, the portraits must be of one person, not couples or families. Make-up for subjects will be available and all money raised on both days will stay in region for TLC4CF.
All the photographers involved are providing their services free of charge and the monies raised will go towards raising €100,000 for much-needed isolation facilities for people living with CF.
A selection of the Happy Faces photographed throughout the campaign will be featured in a 2011 calendar, with all proceeds from the sale of it going to CFAI.
According to organisers, this is an opportunity to help a charity, have a fun experience and create a lasting memory at the same time.
The photographers are encouraging everyone to participate, from grandparents to children and students, teenagers to corporations.
