Foley sweeps the board at All-Ireland grand prix


FOURTEEN-year-old Tom Foley from Tulla made a clean sweep of the second last leg of the All-Ireland Pony Spring Tour Grand Prix league in Lurgan.
Ponies competed from all over Ireland with on average of 60 ponies in each class.

Results
148cm – 1.10cm class: 1. Tom Foley riding Attyrory Clover Lily; 4. Tom Foley riding Joanquin Phoneix; 5. Tom Foley riding Gentle Lady.
148cm – 1.20cm class: 1. Tom Foley riding Attyrory Clover Lily.
148cm – 1.30cm class: 1. Tom Foley riding Crown Jewel; 2. Tom Foley riding Dibidoe; 4. Tom Foley riding Thorn.
Ten-year-old Robbie Clancy from Sixmilebridge, 10-year-old Conor McMahon from Cratloe and 13-year-old Hannah Power from Ballyea also did well.

128cm – 90cm class: 2. Conor Mc Mahon riding Parc rob; 3. Robbie Clancy riding Kilcreen Apollo.
128cm – meter class: 4. Robbie Clancy riding Kilcreen Apollo; 5. Robbie Clancy riding Crispy Crisp.
138cm – 1.10cm class: 7. Hannah Power riding Coomlogane Kojak.
The grand final of the spring tour will be held in Galway on March 27.
