Festival brought to book

Car Tourismo Banner

Ennistymon becomes the book capital of Ireland for the weekend of May 19 and 20 with the Dylan Thomas Literary Festival and the first Ennistymon Book Fair. Book dealers from across Ireland will be arriving next Friday to set up shop in empty units through the town and in the Courthouse Gallery.
Saturday and Sunday will then see the town transformed with book lovers coming from near and far to browse books from the antiquarian items to specialist children’s book dealers. Children can also help themselves to a book goody bag at the Courthouse Gallery to keep them entertained while their parents look around the stalls.
The Dylan Thomas weekend includes readings and talks and is also expected to bring many visitors to the town over the course of the weekend. Bookshops are open Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am.
