Fame – The Musical unleashed on UCH audiences

FAME – The Musical, starring newcomers Ben Morris and Jessica Cervi is currently running for a limited run in the University Concert Hall in Limerick.

The two young actors won the hearts of the nation with their performances in the search for the stars of Fame – the Musical. The pair have since joined the cast on a huge nationwide tour, which arrived at University Concert Hall, Limerick on Tuesday, with performances until Sunday.
Fame – The Musical is the story of a diverse group of talented students studying at the New York School of the Performing Arts. Soul legend Sheila Ferguson – best known as the lead member of the most successful female group of the 1970s, The Three Degrees (Take Good Care of Yourself, When Will I See You Again, Year of Decision) takes on the role of the strict, academic Miss Sherman.
With sets and costumes from the West End this production features choreography by Gary Lloyd (X Factor Live, American Idol Live, Thriller Live), with musical direction by David Hayes. The show continues this Thursday through to Sunday, with performances on Thursday and Friday at 8pm, on Saturday at 2.30pm and 8pm, and on Sunday at 2pm and 6pm.
