European trials success for Foley

THE European Showjumping Trials (leg 1) for juniors, young riders and children on horses were held in Barnadown, County Wexford last weekend, with success for Tom Foley, Belisle Stables, Clonlara.

Tom was second on day one with Zamir, first and second with Zamir and Paddy Fly in the Nations Cup on day two and first and second again in the 1.35cm Grand Prix on day three.

Sophie Danaher, Lisdoonvarna was second in the small tour/children on horses class on Lux to the Future.

Meanwhile, in Cavan at the Easter Pony Championships, Robbie Clancy, Sixmilebridge won the 138cm Grand Prix on Chocolate Sauce and Rhys Williams, Ennis was first in the U-10 Grand Prix. Coen Williams and Abigail Haugh, Ennis were clear in the 128cm classes.
