GOALS from Darren O’Neill and Ruairi Norrby helped Lifford A to this victory over Tulla United in the Premier League at the Cragg on Sunday. Both goals were scored in the opening half hour after which, the winners soaked up a lot of pressure from the home side who created a lot of opportunities.

Newmarket Celtic A 5 Hermitage A 1

NEWMARKET Celtic were comfortable winners over Hermitage A in this Premier League tie  played at McDonogh Park on Sunday. The winners led 1-0 at half-time and doubled their advantage early in the second half. They stretched their lead to three before the Tage pulled one back through Eoin O’Meara-Daly.
In the closing five minutes, the home side added two to seal victory.
Goalscorers for the winners were Kieran Devitt, Stephen Kelly, Darren Cullinan and Daithi O’Connell (2).
