O’Callaghan’s Mills 2-9
Cratloe 0-12

Cratloe’s chances of making it through to the semi-finals of the Clare Champion Cup received a severe blow when they were beaten by O’Callaghan’s Mills in the final round of league ties last Thursday.
A win would have ensured Cratloe of top spot but now their South-East Clare neighbours, Clonlara, can claim that position if they beat Corofn in their final game.
Eoin Pewter and Alan Duggan were the winner’s goalscorers in a tie played at Cratloe. The home side will be disappointed at the outcome of this tie as they were guilty of a lot of missed chances on the day.
Cratloe will be particularly disappointed with the first-half display as they missed many chances in this period. In the second half, the Mills dominated and enjoyed the better of the exchanges.
