Clean coasts on display

IRELAND’S clean coasts will be showcased in North Clare later this month.
An Taisce’s Clean Coasts photography exhibition stops off at Lahinch Seaworld from next Monday until March 20.
The second annual Clean Coasts Photography Awards were held in October 2011 and Deputy Fergus O’Dowd, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, presented the prizes to the winning photographers.
An Taisce’s clean coasts officer for the Munster region, Aidan Gray, says, “The exhibition is on display at a variety of relevant locations in Munster counties during February and March 2012. It is a wonderful snapshot of beauty, nature and community action at our coast.”
