The Clare Camogie awards night will take place this Friday in the Auburn Lodge Hotel, Ennis.
During the evening, the development squads will be presented with their medals following their successful blitzes throughout the year.
Also on the night, the club star awards will be presented to club players, as will the lifetime award.
Pauline Moloney from the Truagh-Clonlara club will receive the hall of fame award.
Pauline has been a member of Truagh Camogie Club for 50 years and is an original member of the first Truagh team to compete in the Clare championship in the 1960s. She lined out for Clare a few times with her sister, Julie. She was involved in setting up the underage club in Truagh with her brother, Martin Gleeson, in the 1980s and trained all underage teams from U-12 right up to senior.
She served as vice-chairperson and was chairperson for two years at the end of the 1990s. She was Munster Council representative at that time also. During the ’90s, she was involved with management of various county underage teams and junior teams. She was also an inter-county referee for a number of years.
