Charity concert in aid of Japan

More than 100 musicians took part in an Easter Sunday concert in Kinvara in aid of Japanese tsunami victims.
Coole Music hosted the event on Sunday that featured performers from different countries. The event began at 6pm in Kinvara Community Centre and was deemed a resounding success by organisers.
The programme featured rock and classical music as well as folk tunes and well-known melodies and brought young musicians from across the country and abroad together. East Clare Young Musicians, Kinvara Young Musicians, Coole Kidz and the Coole Music Project Orchestra were joined by Scandinavian group Alandia Strings.
Violinist Yuki Nisioka, who is from Japan, joined the young people from South Galway for the performances.
