CLARE County Council has adopted its first tourism strategy for the county and pinpointed product development and marketing and promotion as their vision for tourism in the county going forward.

COUNCILLOR Brian Meaney came under intense pressure at Monday’s county council meeting after he sought to expose a tourist attraction not being capitalised upon by County Clare, that of nudist bathing.
