Moher Celtic returned to winning ways when they travelled to Ennis and beat Avenue United in this first division tie. Paul Cagney scored the only goal with 10 minutes remaining.

Kieran Quinlan put the home side in front in this tie at Sixmilebridge and they doubled their advantage when Trevor Maxwell converted from the penalty spot after he had been fouled. Maxwell made it 3-0 before the break and sealed the points when Darren Murphy scored in the second half.
