AFTER a two-week break from action for the Christmas holiday period, there is a full schedule of games listed for decision in Clare soccer this weekend.
The majority of clubs haven’t had a competitive game in six weeks, as inclement weather conditions led to the cancellation of many games in November and December. Weather conditions will determine whether or not this weekend’s list of fixtures will go ahead.
Bridge United will be hoping to take another step in the FAI Junior Cup race when they face TEK from the Leinster League in a fifth-round tie that is scheduled for Sixmilebridge on Sunday at 2pm.
A final decision on the venue will be made closer to match time and the game may switch to the County Grounds. There will be extra time and penalties, if needed.
