  St Joseph’s, Tulla 4-8   St Joseph’s, Borris-Illeigh 0-10 St Joseph’s Tulla booked a place in the semi-final of Corn Phadraig, Munster Colleges Senior B Hurling Championship, when they proved too strong for St Joseph’s Borris-Illeigh at rain lashed Meelick on Wednesday. A powerful second quarter proved decisive in this tie and the East Clare side now go on to play Youghal in the semi-final. The North Tipperary school made the better start and they led 0-3 to 0-0 after seven minutes. Two minutes later the winners opened their account and from here to the half time whistle they enjoyed the upperhand. They had the first of their goals at the mid point of the half when Mark Lynch applied the finish after Diarmuid Moloney had created the opening. Limerick stretch Clare in extra time
