CAMOGIE Congress took place in Westport over the weekend when a number of changes were introduced.From April 1, 2014, there will be four separate categories of members: over 18 players, youth players (U-18), administrators, coaches, referees, non-players that are over 18 and a social membership for over 18s that are not seeking involvement in a club’s administrative or games-related affairs.

THE annual Ennis Duathlon was held in Lees Road last Sunday in near freezing conditions. One hundred and twenty five brave athletes took on the course which included a 2.7k run, a 17k bike ride and a 2.4k run. Athletes of all abilities competed from the elites to duathlon first timers.
