Bridge United Soccer Club held its AGM last Wednesday to plan for the fast-approaching 2013-14 season.

The final day of the Munster Tug-of-War Championships were held at Donoughmore in Cork on Sunday,  hosted by the Donoughmore club and Carnival Committee. It proved to be a great day for the Burren club from Clare, who won both the 600kg and 700kg titles.Four competitions were held on the day, the Youths U-18, U-23, 600kg and 700kg.

Weekend number two in the National Juvenile Track and Field Championships for U-14 to U-19 was held in Tullamore in the sweltering heat on Sunday with Clare athletes taking home four gold, three silver and two bronze medals.

Tuamgraney was the venue last weekend for a number of Munster 60 x 30 handball finals.
