Three Bank Holiday Drug Seizures in Clare

The discovery of €30,000 worth of cocaine in Tiermaclane is the latest seizure of drugs by Clare Gardai this weekend.

Its after searches of house and adjoining lands in Tiermaclane on Saturday afternoon. No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.

Two more seizures of drugs occurred as a result of checkpoints to control the movement of people during the COVID-19 crisis. Firearms and drugs were discovered during a search in Kilmihil while cash and drugs were found by Gardai at a checkpoint in Newmarket, with all three incidents occurring on Saturday.
