Fewer than five new cases of Covid-19 in Clare as 14-day incidence dips to 94.3

THE Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of fewer than five new cases of Covid-19 in Clare and 10 additional deaths related to COVID-19 nationally. Eight deaths occurred in March, one in February and one in January. The median age of those who died was 75 years and the age range was 0 – 84 years. There has been a total of 4,509 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland. As of midnight, Wednesday, March 10, the HPSC has been notified of 592 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There is now a total of 225,179* confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
