Clare Lotto winner comes forward

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket holder of a Lotto jackpot worth €4,041,306 on Saturday May 9, which was sold in Lissycasey, has made contact. The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought in Talty’s Mace. A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we have been contacted by the lucky ticket holder and arrangements are currently being made for the claim to be made once restrictions are lifted due to the on-going public health emergency. We cannot wait to welcome the fifth Lotto jackpot winner of the year to the National Lottery Winner’s Room when it is safer to do so”. Winning Lotto ticket bought in Lissycasey

A family run store in Lissycasey has sold a winning Lotto ticket worth €4,041,306, the National Lottery has confirmed. This golden ticket was sold at Talty’s Mace Circle K in Lisseycasey, a village with a population of approximately 400 people. The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought in Talty’s Mace Circle K on the day of the draw (Saturday 9th May) and the National Lottery has confirmed that it is yet to hear from the lucky winner. Talty’s Mace Circle K is a well-known local business in the Lisseycasey area and has been run by the Talty family for almost half a century. Speaking on selling the golden ticket worth more than €4 million, Cathal Talty, owner of the store said: “We are absolutely over the moon to have sold the winning Lotto ticket. Lotto winning ticket bought in wider Ennis region

The National Lottery has revealed that the winning ticket for Saturday’s Lotto jackpot worth over €4,041,306 was sold in a town in the wider Ennis region. It was also confirmed that the winning ticketholder has yet to make contact so the National Lottery is still urging people in Clare to check their Lotto tickets very carefully to see if they are Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire. The awards honour the talents of the hundreds of journalists, photographers, designers and advertising executives involved in producing local weekly titles in both print and digital format every week. A Co Clare woman was sitting on a winning €500,000 EuroMillions plus ticket for a month before she realised there was a chance she could be a winner. It was only through a casual conversation at home that she learned the winning ticket was purchased at Barry’s Mace Store in Ardnacrusha, where she played EuroMillions on October 6 last. Lotto strikes again for Teresa

Lotto luck as stuck again for Teresa Cavanagh from Kildysart who won €38,000 on The Million Euro Challenge Game Show on Saturday on RTE at the weekend. The fourth show of the National Lottery’s latest gameshow, presented by Nicky Byrne, was broadcast last Saturday. Three players from Donegal and Clare won cash prizes to the value of €85,000.
