Saturday update: No further Covid-19 deaths reported

THERE have been no new deaths reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre on Saturday (August 1), and no new cases diagnosed in Clare. Nationally, there have now been 1,763 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland. As of midnight Friday July 31, the HPSC has been notified of 45 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There is now a total of 26,109 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland. The number of confirmed infections in this county remains at 391. Details of the cases notified is as follows: • 23 are men / 22 are women • 77% are under 45 years of age (50% aged 25- 44 years) • 9 cases are located in Limerick, 8 in Kildare, 7 in Mayo, 6 in Cavan, 4 in Dublin with the remainder spread across 5 other counties. • 18 are associated with outbreaks or close contacts of a confirmed case • 12 cases have been identified as community transmission The HSE is working to identify …

11 more Covid-19 cases diagnosed in Clare

Eleven additional Covid-19 cases have been diagnosed in Clare bringing to 22 the total number of new cases in the county since last weekend. Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ronan Glynn said that as of midnight Wednesday, July 29, the HPSC has been notified of 85 confirmed cases of Covid-19. There is now a total of 26,027 confirmed cases of the virus in Ireland. The 11 cases in Clare represent the second largest increase in the county since June 1 when a total of 37 new cases were confirmed. The HSE also confirmed that the eight cases announced on Tuesday are new, and that some of them relate to a cluster in the Ennis area. It follows on from the three additional cases announced on Sunday, which brought a five-week run of being Covid-free to an end in Clare. 40 new Covid-19 cases confirmed nationwide

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been notified of 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There were no new cases reported in Clare. The county figure remains at 372. There is now a total of 25,929 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.  There have been no new deaths reported to the HPSC today. There has now been a total of 1,764 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland. The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread. Three new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Clare

Three of the 12 new cases of Covid-19 are in Clare.  The number of confirmed cases in Clare now stands at 372. The new cases in Clare are the first confirmed in the county in a fortnight. There have been no new deaths reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre today. There has now been a total of 1,764 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland. As of midnight Saturday July 25, the HPSC has been notified of 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There is now a total of 25,881 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.  The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread. 32 new Covid-19 cases nationally

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been notified of 32 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Clare’s figure of 369 has not increased in the latest figures. There have been no new deaths reported (HPSC) today. There has been a total of 1,746 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland. There is now a total of 25,670 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.  The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread. As of midnight on Monday, 523,277 tests have been carried out. Over the past week, 49,264 tests were carried out. 157 tests were positive, giving a positivity rate of 0.3%. The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been informed that a total of 17 people with COVID-19 have died. There have now been a total 1,631 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland. As of midnight Tuesday 26 May the HPSC has been notified of 73 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There have been no new cases in Clare. The figure stands at 322. There is now a total of 24,803 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
