Clare’s reply to camogie association’s statement

On Wednesday evening Clare camogie board issued a statement in which they clearly take issue with the camogie association’s comments concerning a clash of fixtures involving the association and the ladies football association on Saturday July 11. Clare are scheduled to play round 2 of the All-Ireland senior camogie championship on Saturday afternoon when they host Dublin while the Clare lady footballers will play the Munster intermediate football final against Waterford in Mallow on the same afternoon. Clare make four changes for top of table clash

By Seamus Hayes There are four changes in personnel to the Clare team for the top of the table, round 4 Allianz hurling league clash with Waterford from that which scored a comfortable win over Tipperary at Thurles last week. Domhnaill O’Donovan, one of the All-Ireland final heroes, is named for his first start since his memorable performances in Croke Park last September. He will play in his regular corner back spot in place of the injured Seadna Morey.
