PUPILS at Seamount College, Kinvara will stage the musical Seussical in Kilcornan Hall, Clarinbridge next week. Seussical is a musical based on the stories of Dr Seuss.

Travelling everywhere from the Jungle of Nool to McElligot’s pool, the story is narrated by the Cat in the Hat, a character from the books of Dr Seuss. The story revolves around an elephant called Horton, who finds a small world on a dust speck inhabited by the Whos.

Horton does his best to keep the Whos safe, although he is ridiculed by the other animals in the jungle for believing in something he cannot see. Horton’s struggle to keep the Whos safe takes the audience on a humorous adventure, where we meet many of Dr Seuss’ characters.

The musical will be staged on Thursday, November 15 and Friday, November 16 at 8pm. Tickets are available from the school at 091 637362, from the Parent Council representatives and on the door on the night.
