Naomi Carroll was a member of the Irish U-18 hockey team that won the Home Nations Tournament in Garryduff Cork last weekend.

It was the first time that the Irish girls captured this title. It is held every second year and the competing teams are England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Naomi, who lives in Cratloe, plays her club hockey with the Catholic Institute in Limerick and has represented Ireland at U-16 and U-18 since 2008.
She is also a well-known camogie player and will line out for Clare in the All-Ireland U-18 final against Galway on Saturday week.
