Moving Hearts return to UCH for Unfinished Business


ONE of Ireland’s most influential bands Moving Hearts will be performing at University Concert Hall Limerick this September along with special guests. They will be coming to the Mid-West venue on September 12 as part of their Unfinished Business’tour.

This ground-breaking band, who have inspired many well-known traditional musicians to follow in their footsteps, are famous for their thrilling live performances since coming on the scene in 1981.
The recently reunited line-up includes renowned producer and composer Donal Lunny (Planxty, Bothy Band) on bouzouki, the legendary Davy Spillane (Bryan Adams, composer and solo recording artist) on uillean pipes, Eoghan O’Neill (Chris Rea) on bass, Keith Donald (Louis Stewart, Gerry Mulligan) on saxophone, Noel Eccles (RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Riverdance, Sting) on percussion, Liam Bradley (Van Morrison, Boyzone) on drums, Anto Drennan (The Corrs, Genesis) on guitar and Graham Henderson (Sinéad O’Conor, Paul Brady) on keyboards. On the night, they will be performing tunes from The Storm album and other recordings for which they are well-known and hugely respected for.
Special guests on the night will be Iarla Ó Lionáird (Afro Celts) on vocals and Máirtín O’Connor (Riverdance, De Dannan) accordion.
