Fergus Rovers host AGM


The Fergus Rovers AGM was held last Friday night. Prior to the business of the meeting, founder member and recent national hall of fame winner Johnny Hayes addressed the gathering.

Detailed reports were given by outgoing secretary Agnes Hehir and outgoing treasurer Evelyn Hill. Chairman John O’Malley thanked all who worked for the club during the past year and said it was a pleasure to be their chairman. Agnes Hehir stepped down after four years as secretary and was complimented for the professional manner in which she carried out her role while Evelyn Hill, who stepped down from the posts of treasurer/registrar, was also praised for her work.
