NEWMARKET Celtic A maintained their strong challenge for the Premier League title with a convincing win over their neighbours, Bunratty A at Woulfe Park on Sunday.

The winners took the lead after 15 minutes when Davy Wall scored but Bunratty fought back to level through Shane Purcell.
Newmarket regained the initiative and led 4-1 at the interval. They scored first in the second half before Bunratty had their second, which came from Brendan Hughes but the winners finished strongly and added two more to seal an impressive win.
The goal scorers on the day were Davy Wall (two), Kieran Devitt, Seamus Lawlor, Mark Donlon, Gary Collins and Simon Malone.
Bunratty A: Fintan Quinn, Shane Purcell, Eoin Nash, Gearóid O’Connell, Tadhg Keogh, Evan Glynn, Brendan Hughes, Sean McDonald, Daithí O’Connell, Shane O’Connor, Ryan Kelly.
