ENNIS was ablaze with music over the weekend as the 17th Ennis Trad Festival gripped the town for five days of non-stop tunes. From Thursday evening, it swept through the town, gaining momentum over the weekend with its final melodic embers flickering into the early hours of Tuesday morning.

THIS year’s Ennis Trad Festival will be an opportunity for people to forget all about doom and gloom and throw themselves into the festivities and enjoy the top-class entertainment on offer, according to the festival director, John Rynne.

A NEW support service for mothers was set up in Ennis last week by a life and parent coach. The Just Mums group hopes to give support, encouragement, information and pampering to mothers with babies under 12 months old.
