Clare TDs reject ‘gravy train’ claim

EXPENSES totalling €905,694 were claimed by Clare’s two senior deputies, Minster of State Tony Killeen and Deputy Pat Breen, for the seven year period up to September 2009.However, the current four Oireachtas members insist they are not on an expenses “gravy train” stating claims are based on the high cost of operating their offices and travelling to and from Dublin.
