MEMBERS of Clare Youth Theatre are bringing Shakespeare into contemporary relevance with their latest productions, Searching for Shakespeare and Roses in Winter. The two plays will be staged at Cois na hAbhna Cultural Centre, Ennis this Friday and Saturday night.  

LITTLE did East Clare fiddle legend Martin Hayes know when he was out canvassing for Barrack Obama in Connecticut in the last US presidential election that he’d end up recording a reel in the new president’s honour.

GERMAN-born Kinvara based artist Anne Korff was inspired to such an extent from her travels in Morocco, Tunisia, Andalusia and remote parts of south-east Turkey that she has depicted her visits in paint.
