Shannon-based Reagecon Diagnostics has won the Best Established SME Award at the national final of the 2014 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards. The awards, which were presented at the Mansion House in Dublin, toasted the cream of the crop in Irish business, crowning 10 finalists from across the country. The awards, in association with the Irish Independent, Enterprise Ireland and InterTradeIreland saw as record 627 businesses compete. Reagecon Diagnostics develops, manufactures, and distributes physical and chemical standards and reagents for laboratories worldwide. The company also offers customized manufacturing, training, and technical services and supplies its products in 150 countries worldwide. Reagecon Diagnostic is the largest producer of calibration standards in the world.
