While most in the count centre expect Timmy Dooley to take the final seat, accompanying Pat Breen, Joe Carey and Michael McNamara, some feel James Breen is still in the race.

Speaking to the Clare Champion, Labour’s Director of Elections Pascal Fitzgerald said; “It’s very hard to call it, James Breen could still pip it, but we’ll be in a much better position to judge after this next count.”
