JLS and Olly Murs set for Limerick concert

POP superstars JLS have confirmed they will be performing a  special outdoor show this summer in Limerick’s Thomond Park on Sunday, June 26.

JLS will be joined by special guest Olly Murs and tickets will go on sale on Thursday at 8am from all usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and www.ticketmaster.ie.
With their aptly-titled second top five album Outta This World rocketing their already stellar success to even greater heights – Aston, Marvin, Oritse and JB are primed and ready to backflip their way into the nation’s hearts once more.
The band have rapidly ascended from bagging Best Unsigned Act at the Urban Music Awards 2007 to taking their aim at the heart of the mainstream to become the most successful group of all time to enter The X Factor. “From the underground to the overground,” as Oritse succinctly puts it.
Their success has been staggering. They had three UK number-one singles, an over four times platinum debut album, two 2009 MOBO Awards and two 2010 BRIT trophies all in the first year of their recording careers.
Appearing as special guest, Olly Murs is also from The X Factor alumni with two hit singles Please Don’t Let Me Go and Thinking of Me as well as his self-titled debut album already under his signature trilby hat.
The new single Heart On My Sleeve is due for release on March 6 and with a BRIT Award nomination and a sold-out tour coming up, 2011 is already off to an exciting start for Olly.
JLS will also perform at Belfast’s Kings Hall Complex on Saturday, June 25.
