Car Tourismo Banner

Irish Water is progressing plans to replace the water main in Parteen to secure a safe, reliable water supply for the local community.

This aging water main has been subject to numerous bursts and Irish Water is investing €80,000 for the replacement of 400m of 150mm water main in the area of Griffin’s Cross.

Design and tender documents are currently being prepared, as part of an East Clare bundle of work and investment. It is anticipated that these design and tender documents will be complete in late 2016 and issued to market in January 2017.

Irish Water expects construction to start in Spring 2017.
