Fine-tuning your voice


Sian Croose, co-director of The Voice Project in Norfolk, will be running a weekend workshop in Mountshannon over the weekend of May 21/22 for singers/choirs as preparation for a performance on Saturday, June 4, during the Mountshannon Festival.
Sian has directed music projects with thousands of adults and children over the last 20 years and has worked with composers, instrumentalists and singers from the UK, USA, Zimbabwe, Georgia, France and Ireland.
Over the past 15 years, she has given two or three weekend workshops per year in Ireland. These workshops have earned such a reputation for being great fun as well as inspirational, that they normally book out very quickly.
The ability to read music is not a requirement, but participants should be available for all the dates above as well as a daytime rehearsal on Saturday, June 4. There are concessions available for the workshops. Early booking is advised. phone Doreen Hanley on 087 2686764 or Tony Kay 087 7464555.
