Cooraclare  2-8   Miltown  2-5

Cooraclare picked up two valuable Cusack Cup points at home when they got the better of Miltown last weekend.

Lining out with Rory Donnelly at centre-forward and Joe Considine at full-forward, Cooraclare led by three points, 1-6 to 1-3 at the interval.
Considine scored the home team’s first-half goal, while Gary Egan found the net for Miltown.
Declan McMahon and Joe Curtin (Miltown) traded second half goals as Cooraclare retained their three-point advantage to secure the points.
The Cusack Cup champions now sit on six points from six games, while Miltown are two points adrift of that total, having played the same amount of games.
Both teams will be in O’Gorman Cup quarter-final action in the coming days with Cooraclare playing Shannon Gaels and Miltown taking on Lissycasey.
Doonbeg have already qualified for the semi-final following a 0-12 to 0-8 win over Ennistymon.
