Clare’s best bites

Clare’s top restaurants were named this week at the Munster Regional Final of the Santa Rita/LIFE Magazine Irish Restaurant Awards.

Noel’s Restaurant in Bunratty Manor won the best customer service award while nearby JP Clarkes won the best gastro pub award. The best casual dining experience in Clare was won by L’Arco in Ballyvaughan. Dromoland Castle won two awards where David McCann was named best chef and the Earl of Thomond won best hotel restaurant. The Wild Honey Inn in Lisdoonvarna was named best restaurant in Clare.

All county winners now compete for the regional and all Ireland titles at the main event, taking place in The Burlington Hotel in Dublin on Monday, June 10.
