Coláiste Muire, Ennis has been selected to take part in the Volleyball Association of Ireland’s transition year girls spikeball leaders award programme. This initiative is funded by the Irish Sports Council ‘Women in Sport’ project encouraging girls to actively participate in sport.

Ennis                        11UL Bohemians       10ENNIS won the North Munster U-13 League last Sunday at St Senan’s grounds in Shannon, by beating UL Bohemians in a thrilling replay that went right down to the final whistle. This win has given this very talented panel of players an unbeaten league run for the season, in what was their first season playing a full 15-a-side game.

IN excess of 100 competitors took part in the Ennis duathlon at Lees Road on Sunday.

ST Flannan’s, Scoil Mhuire Ennistymon, Kilrush and Spanish Point schools were all represented at the All-Ireland Schools and  Irish Universities Cross Country Championships, which were held at St Mary’s College, Galway last Saturday.
