The Clare Champion was in the winning circle for yet another award at the weekend as it retained its title of Regional Newspaper of the Year at the Irish Print Awards.

The newspaper is printed by Cork-based Webprint.

Celebrating excellence in the printing industry for more than 38 years, the Irish Print Awards recognise the best of the country’s print sector and are regarded as the leading independent awards event for the print industry. The awards are judged by a select team of industry experts.

The Clare Champion managing director, John Galvin, said he was delighted the paper had retained the award and acknowledged the work of all those involved in keeping standards at such a high level.
