KILRUSH Community School will be saying Hello Dolly nightly from next Wednesday March 14, until the following Bank Holiday Monday. Kilrush Choral Society will host their annual musical from 8pm each evening, featuring a cast of approximately 75. Catherine Tobin is musical director, while Ger Rush produces the show. The orchestra is under the direction of conductor John Roe from Galway.“In all, we’d have about 75 people taking part. We have about 25 kids in the parade alone,” Miss Rush confirmed. Suzanne Murphy plays Dolly; Horace Vandergelder is played by Charles Clancy. Liam Woulfe is Cornelius, while Kevin Shalloo plays Barnaby. Aileen Downes plays Mrs Molloy and Marie McMahon is Minnie.
